We are looking for experienced sales individuals to operate our booth at weekend farmers markets. No need to have extensive knowledge about flower farming, but should be passionate about the industry AND local flowers of course (how can you not love them right?). If you are a motivated self-starter who loves meeting new people and working with beautiful flowers, we want to hear from you.
What we're looking for:
· Be an early riser to consistently be able to get to market and have stand set up on time.
· Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must have previous experience in a customer service sales role.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to navigate high volume of market shoppers.
· Familiarity with with Square for retail is a plus.
· Must be able to interact with all levels of customers, other vendors, market management and staff in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.
· Knowledge of floral design techniques is a plus.
· Must understand importance of product display and optics.
· Ability to provide multilingual customer service is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working with a professional and energetic demeanor.
· Must have elevated knowledge of social media, preferably Instagram and Facebook.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
